KC oversaw construction associated with this New York City Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC) project, which involved the rehabilitation of pedestrian ramps at more than 1,000 corners which required a production rate of near 100 corners per month. KC ensured that the repair and upgrade of the existing pedestrian ramps, as well as the associated street restoration, conformed to New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT) standards and specifications and met Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. KC performed a detailed review of the site conditions at all pedestrian ramp locations and identified and addressed potential issues. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring compliance with ramp and quadrant sidewalk slopes, proper Detectable Warning Pad installation, curb reveals, and proper gutter drainage. The work also involved roadway restoration and pavement striping.
