Water Connection to DC Airport
The project scope for this Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority (DCWWA) project included the construction of a water main to provide water service from the Town of Wappinger to the Dutchess County Airport. The water main, comprised of 12-inch diameter cement-lined ductile iron pipe, provided a connection point on the Central Dutchess Water Transmission Line (CDWTL) in the Town of Wappinger in an easement across from a private parcel to the east end of Airport Drive, along the south shoulder of Airport Drive to NYS Route 376, and northerly along the east shoulder of NYS Route 375 to a point opposite Griffith Way where the line crosses under NYS Route 376, where it was then terminated for future extension of the Airport property.
