Contract D031304-06: Priority Surface Treatments
This New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) project sought to restore the highway pavement surface at multiple locations to a distress-free condition. The scope of work included two-inch milling of existing asphalt riding surface, isolated full depth pavement repair, two inches of new top course asphalt resurfacing, installation and/or upgrade of sidewalk curb ramps, new pavement markings, and traffic signal loop and traffic count loop replacement where necessary. KC provided design survey of the project sites, including supplemental field survey, pedestrian ramp evaluation, and utility and drainage casting inventory.
KC assisted with preparing the construction cost estimate, advanced detailed plans and all related preliminary progress plans for highway design, and the final plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E).
